1. What was the project challenge that we addressed for our customer?

Our client, a major pharmaceuticals corporation; was experiencing delivery delays on a large SAP integration project due to a lack of local onsite staff. Business areas were struggling with requirements definition and project plans. This project was up against tight deadlines and budgetary constraints.

2. What was the solution our consultant(s) provided for the customer?

We provided multiple functional and technical SAP consultants who were skilled in various modules (WM, MM, PP, IM, FICO). Maverick Tech Partners provided these resources onsite and gave the customer full flexibility as to how the consultants were deployed during the duration of the project. Once the project was delivered our team provided post go-live SAP support assisting the business with issues and other SAP needs.

3. How did this project help our customer achieve ROI and improve business efficiencies to grow their business?

Our team of SAP resources helped to move the project forward and meet deadlines. Our team created a better communication plan for the project. The in-depth knowledge of our SAP consultants helped our customer deliver this large integration project within tight deadlines and met budget demands. This allowed our customer to consolidate their ERP platforms which reduced cost and overhead by streamlining efficiencies throughout the organization.

Oracle EBS

1. What was the project challenge that we addressed for our customer?

Our client is a global biotech company that aims to discover, develop and commercialize innovative medicines so people with serious diseases can lead better lives. In addition to their clinical development programs focused on cystic fibrosis, this organization has more than a dozen ongoing research programs aimed at other serious and life-threatening diseases. Founded in 1989 in Cambridge, for five • years in a row, Science magazine has named this company one of its “Top Employers in the life sciences”.
This client reached out to us as they needed assistance with their Oracle ERP Systems so they could sell their product in new countries. They needed expertise with EB Tax module to expand their global R12 EBS footprint within tight deadlines.

2. What was the solution our consultant(s) provided for the customer?

This project allowed customers to tabulate taxes for financial reporting which helps them to track the VAT tax for each country. This allowed them to keep track of the recoverable taxes.
 The Maverick Technology Partners consultants helped make our client self reliant and prepare for future expansion.

3. How did this project help our customer achieve ROI and improve business efficiencies to grow their business?

This project allowed our client to gain the ability to roll EB Tax out to these countries a lot quicker with better quality by automating the processes. By gaining these efficiencies they were able to increase market share quickly within the new countries where they rolled out EB Tax.

PeopleSoft

1. What is the current project challenge that you are addressing for our customer?

Our customer is a Billion-dollar publicly traded Staffing company who needed assistance becoming payroll complaint for the Fair Labor Standards Act (FSLA). In addition to this our customer needed to streamline and document their business processes to align with Peoplesoft HCM. They also needed to develop Change Management policies and training for PeopleSoft HCM.

2. What is the solution that you are providing for the customer?

We assisted our customer in creating a solution to help them manage their extremely complex pay practices by building workflows in PeopleSoft HCM to integrate with a 3rd party payroll company. We helped our customer come up with a creative way for them manage this process so that they pay their employees and are compliant with all DOL laws within each individual state. We also helped them build a strategic plan to maximize their investment in PeopleSoft HCM and improve their internal business processes. Our comprehensive strategic plan helped accommodate a much-needed change management process that led to additional training for our customer’s employee base.

3. How did this project help our customer achieve ROI and improve business efficiencies to grow their business?

By facilitating these changes our customer has been able to meet the demands of a complicated payroll process to prevent any fines that could be assessed by DOL for not being compliant with FLSA guidelines. By improving the workflow and change management controls our customer could reduce administrative staff by having these processes automated in PeopleSoft HCM which has given our customer a level of consistency to manage their national based business across the entire organization.

NetSuite

1. What is the current project challenge that you are addressing for our customer?

Our customer is a world leading provider of genomic-based diagnostic tests that address both the over treatment and optimal treatment of early-stage cancer. They needed someone to provide business analysis for a NetSuite Integration. In addition, they needed this person to build and test integration points for ReQlogic, SharePoint, TFS and ServiceNow error reduction process, to find the root cause of integration errors, etc.

2. What is the solution that you are providing for the customer?

Our consultant created user requirements and workflows for NetSuite while working closely with Finance end users to ensure the NetSuite application met the needs of the business. Additionally, our consultant worked with internal and external teams, both domestic and international, to ensure that integration errors where resolved in a timely manner.

3. How did this project help our customer achieve ROI and improve business efficiencies to grow their business?

All this work was in an effort to the help the business improve the revenue recognition and month end close which helped our customer to maximize their investment in NetSuite to ensure that the company could continue to handle the explosive growth of their product line.
