1. What was the project challenge that we addressed for our customer?

The end user community requested the Surface Pro due to its portability and tablet capabilities but did not want to sacrifice power or functionality that came with a custom image. 

2.What was the solution our consultant(s) provided for the customer?

An adoption script was created to be installed on the MS Surface Pro factory image utilizing a number of Power Shell scripts.  This adoption script made the Surface look and feel like it was imaged from the SCCM server without the complications of creating and maintaining a custom image. This solution would allow each machine to run autonomously on any network server in the company worldwide. 

3. How did this project help our customer achieve ROI and improve business efficiencies to grow their business?

This method reduced the time required to image and roll out a surface to the end user in halfIt required much less ongoing maintenance and was essentially hardware agnostic; meaning it could be run on any device in the future.  This method will reduce the number of hours dedicated to creating and maintaining multiple images for multiple devices.  It will also reduce the number of support calls for image failures or other issues related to custom images.

1.What was the project challenge that we addressed for our customer?

The Maverick Consultant assisted our customer (a property and casualty insurance firm) in the migration to Office 365 while also assisting our customer in migrating the entire company to the Windows 10 platform. In addition to this project work our consultant provided day to day resolution of IT support tickets for both internal user and external brokers, material being sent out by management, and monitored tickets to determine trends and ways of making communication more efficient.

2.What was the solution our consultant(s) provided for the customer?

To effectively manage the upgrade and day to day support work our consultant utilized the combination of documentation using Microsoft OneNote, communication and ticket documentation using Zendesk, communication with other members of the team using Outlook, Microsoft Teams to ensure the successful completion of the update while maintaining all the needs of the end user community. In addition to this work our consultant has been able to increase communication across the team by laying a foundation built on documentation of how to respond to a variety of issues. The number of tickets the team can resolve has increased and the ability to curtail tickets by providing improved documentation for the end users has also been substantial

3. How did this project help our customer achieve ROI and improve business efficiencies to grow their business?

The work that our consultant accomplished has allowed senior level resources in the Charleston, South Carolina office to focus their work in a variety of areas to work on engineering new solutions to make the brokers business more efficient, enabling the sales organization to gain market share and increase revenue in the competitive high-end property and casualty insurance market.
